May 5: Ascension
Your fifth joy was, O Virgin, when you saw your Son ascend into heaven. The glory with which he was surrounded revealed to you more than ever that he whose mother you were was your own Creator. In thus ascending into heaven, he shows us the way by which man rises to the heavenly palaces. By this joy, O Mary, intercede for us to ascend to heaven, where we shall enjoy eternal happiness with you and your Son.
Let us pray: Mary, in this month dedicated to you, I come to you. You know all the intentions of my heart, I trust in you and in your intercession with Jesus your Son, our Saviour. Listen to my prayer...(express your intentions in silence)
